About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Farm Manager to lead our 500-hectare soya farming operation in Nyagatare. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating all farm activities, managing a team of 50+ workers, ensuring optimal crop yields, and maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate has a strong background in soya cultivation and proven leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage planting, cultivation, and harvesting schedules
Supervise and train farm workers
Monitor crop health and implement pest management strategies
Manage farm budgets and procurement
Ensure compliance with agricultural standards
Report to the cooperative board on farm performance

Requirements

3+ years experience 5+ years experience Agriculture degree Team management
